The pop/off/art gallery participates in the Cosmoscow international art fair, which will be held in Gostiny Dvor (Moscow) on September 8, 9 and 10. The gallery stand is represented by artists Vladimir Potapov and Vlad Yurashko.
The fifth anniversary edition of the only international contemporary art fair in Russia Cosmoscow will traditionally be held in Moscow Gostiny Dvor from 8 to 10 September 2017 with the support of the strategic partner of the Swiss bank Credit Suisse and jewelry partner Messika.
The non-profit program Cosmoscow, which includes various initiatives of the exhibition, educational and charitable format, this year is united by the theme "Where is the revolution?", inspired by the anniversary of the revolutionary events of 1917.
About featured artists:
Vladimir Potapov (born 1980) is an artist and curator. He received his first art education at the Institute of Arts. P. A. Serebryakova (Volgograd). Graduate of the Institute of Contemporary Art Problems (Moscow) and "Free Workshops" (Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Moscow). In his artistic practice, he works with painting, exploring its medial foundations and possibilities in a contemporary context. His experiments and research take place at the interfaces with other media and art forms. In addition to active exhibition and curatorial activities, Potapov is a participant, nominee and laureate of almost all major exhibitions, competitions and awards.
Vlad Yurashko (b. 1970) is an artist, one of the prominent figures in post-Soviet contemporary art. Yurashko is a participant in the main and several special projects of the 5th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, a special project of the State Tretyakov Gallery "Museum of Contemporary Art: Department of Labor and Employment" of the 3rd Ural Industrial Biennale of Contemporary Art (2015), the Biennale of Actual Arts in Kiev (2003, 2004, 2005). The works are included in many status collections.
