At the 11th international fair of contemporary art Cosmoscow, the pop/off/art gallery will present the works of four artists of different generations united by a common theme – the search for a new visual language in abstraction. Well-known series by legendary artists Yuri Zlotnikov (1930 – 2016) and Evgeniy Mikhnov-Voitenko (1932 – 1988) will coexist with a new project by a young artist Ivan Novikov (1990) and paintings by the Latvian artist Andris Eglitis (1981) who turns to natural motifs. The architecture of the stand and its exhibition are designed to show the connections and differences in the approach to abstract painting in the art of the second half of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st. Additional elements will be exhibits of collectible design selected together with the «3l store» bureau, which also co-authored the design.
